A Month and a Week…
Oh man, we’re almost within a month of the show! Just wanted to post a few things:
- I have to say, first, that I’m having fun getting to know you guys a bit on Twitter and I’m super excited to meet up next month!
- Does anyone have any good deals they’ve found on hotels that I can post on the tumblr? Apparently the Aloft has gone up a lot and I’m not sure what others have found!
- WHO IS TAKING PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION BTWN MKE and ORD? How are you getting there? Let me know! We might as well travel by pack!
- Since a lot of people are getting to Milwaukee relatively close to show time I think the pre-show meet up will just be at or very close to the theatre. I’ve been talking to a few MKE locals about options. Once I know in general where people are staying we’ll figure out a good after location.
- We’ll also be picking a good pre-show bar in Wrigleyville for the Metro show — and there’s possibly a Bob Nanna-DJed after party in the works. No promises there but I’ll keep you posted :) You can all thank @wellsam for getting that ball rolling!!!
- ANY SUGGESTIONS ARE MORE THAN WELCOME! :) I know Chicago pretty well but this is my first trip to Milwaukee. (Promise I won’t wear my Giants hat….)
Lastly, I’d love to put up some little bios on who is coming to each show. Totally optional, but it’d be fun I think. I’ll put the on the tumblr. Just a small pic and a quick description, you know something more unique than “OMGILOVEPROMISERING” :) You can DM or email me at randy AT runwayfour DOT com … and remind me in the email which shows you’re coming to because that’s how I’ll sort them. I’ll put mine up soon.
